The person behind OSU
How I ended
up here.
I’m an English teacher who got slightly addicted to padel.
That’s really how OSU began. It comes from a pretty simple idea: play more, meet good people, understand your game and enjoy getting better along the way.

The essentials.
Do I need a partner to sign up?
No, sign up solo or with a partner. If you don’t have one, we’ll match you with someone based on your level and characteristics, and you’ll play together for the season.
What level do I need to be?
Any level. When you register, you tell us your level (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced) and we place you in a group matched to you. Groups are split by level, not experience, so every match stays balanced.
When does Season 2 start?
Season 2 starts in January 2027. Registration opens on 1 December 2026, and everyone on the waitlist gets an email that day with the dates, plans and prices.
How much does Season 2 cost?
Season 2 plans and prices are announced on 1 December. For reference, Season 1 plans started at €199 for the full 12-week season.
When and where are the matches played?
Across our partner clubs in Valencia (Vara de Quart, Patraix, Ferran el Catòlic, Malva-rosa and Quatre Carreres), matched to your area whenever possible, typically weekday evenings from 6pm onward. Once your group is formed, you get the full season calendar in advance.
What if I go on holiday or miss a week?
You don’t lose your match: every match can be made up. Tell us more than 24 hours ahead and we’ll arrange a substitute from the pool, or your match is rescheduled at the Recovery Weekend. You get up to 3 justified absences per season.
How much time do I need each week?
Just your weekly match, about 1.5 hours. With League+ it’s one match plus one weekly group lesson, that’s it.
Is the league in English?
Yes, coached bilingually (EN/ES), but the league and community run primarily in English, built for internationals in Valencia.
What happens in the weekly group lesson? (League+)
Sessions run in small groups of 3 to 4 players, one hour long, grouped by level, working on technique, tactics and drills. We agree on a set day and time together and keep that slot every week.
Is joining the waitlist a commitment?
No. The waitlist is free and commits you to nothing: we email you when registration opens, and you decide then. You can unsubscribe at any time.
